Meet Nona Green

Nona Green is a realtor who knows it's not just a house, it's a way of life.

Waking to the sounds of the rooster's crow, youngsters spring to their feet to make beds and then gather the eggs from the hen house. Their reward after feeding the other ranch animals is a fresh omelet, and then off for a horseback ride.

Sound like summer camp? It's actually a typical day for many a grade schooler in many special Los Angeles communities.

Of course, there is school in the Las Virgenes Unified District, which, when compared to other towns, is an e-ticket for the students. The United States Pony Club and active 4H chapters are alive and well. Individuals and families alike thrive in a semi-rural environment where nature's lessons abound.

Nona Green has 36 years experience and has expertise selling rural and custom homes, vacant land, and commercial equestrian facilities. A Broker Associate with Coldwell Banker, she lives in the area and with pride demonstrates the neighborhoods to prospective buyers.

She is also a member of REC (Recreation and Equestrian Coalition), SOS (Save Open Space), ELCR (Equestrian Land Conservation Resources), the Las Virgenes Homeowner's Federation, and other environmental groups who are dedicated to keeping these areas in their present tranquil state.
