Meet Cathy Gilchrist-Colmar

A love of riding brought Cathy Gilchrist-Colmar to the Rancho Santa Fe area over 20 years ago and she has been able to combine that love with her experience in all phases of real estate. Her broad base of knowledge gives her a valuable edge in providing clients with top-level advice, while her active involvement in the equestrian lifestyle keeps her current with what today's riders and trainers are looking for in a horse property.

"I'm fortunate to board my horse at beautiful Lucky Jack Farm in Rancho Santa Fe and train with Marcy Gehrke," says Cathy. "Knowing that my mare Ava is in the best care and training lets me dedicate the time to give my clients first-class service."

Cathy has been individually ranked among the top agents nationwide with her former company, and she was presented with the Chairman's Circle Diamond Award in back-to-back years. She is a founding member of The Fellowship of Realty Professionals, an organization recognized by REAL Trends, The Wall Street Journal and other credible sources and among the most experienced and successful real estate professionals in the country.

Her transactions include sales ranging from $238,000 to $28 million. In the last five years, she and her business partner Clinton Selfridge have sold over $120 million of property.

However, when asked what sets her apart from others in her profession, Cathy says, "Developing and maintaining great relationships with my clients has always come first." A recent move to Pacific Sotheby's International Realty has been mutually beneficial. "Sotheby's world-wide reputation for excellence and expertise in the luxury market place gives my listings a powerful presence in both the international and local real estate arena," she says. "Having Sotheby's resources available to me allows me to reach my highest potential and do my best work for my clients."
