Founders's Notes

Kia, a beautiful 15 yr old Dutch Warmblood mare is up for adoption from FalconRidge Equine Rescue in Valley Center, CA.

Gorgeous Kia has been a children's A circuit show hunter most of her life. Kia suffered a suspensory injury while jumping last year. Her registered name is Saskia. She has been in rehabilitation at FalconRidge, barefoot and in a pasture. Kia is currently sound at the walk and the veterinarians have said she would improve with time.

We are looking for an adopter who just wants to walk for now, continue her rehab and slow conditioning and treat Kia like the loving family member she deserves to be after all her show years jumping and training. Adoption fee is $1500. Contact Nicki Branch at 760-742-0285, www.falconridgerescue.org
