John McQueen Joins LEG

John McQueen has signed on to manage three of Langer Equestrian Group's premier shows in 2014. Michael Roy Curtis will remain on the LEG team. John is going to focus his efforts and bring his experience from the popular International Omaha Horse Show to LEG's Memorial Day Classic, National Preview and LA National.

John is excited to be joining the LEG team and taking the reins of three of LEG's shows. "I have always seen eye-to-eye with how LEG runs their shows," explains John. "Their shows have been great productions, and I am looking forward to seeing what I can contribute to continue elevating their horse shows." John has judged many West Coast shows, and he looks forward to bringing his perspective and experience to managing three of the top shows on the West Coast.

"John is a well-respected professional horseman, USEF judge, and for the past few years has made a mark in the Midwest with a set of horse shows," states Larry. "First and foremost we want horsemen involved with the leadership of our shows, because horsemen are our customers and we never want to forget our roots. Everyone on our team has ridden and shown extensively."

John will attend the first two days of this year's National Preview, and he looks forward to meeting many of the exhibitors and seeing the show in action.

Bethany Wallace Arrives at Jackson's Ranch

Dressage, hunter/jumper and eventing trainer Bethany Wallace, and her team of students and horses, have moved to Jackson's Ranch in south San Diego County. Their new "home away from home" has lovely footing, an abundance of open space and shade trees, and that wonderful temperate San Diego coastal climate. "After all, the beach is just a short trail ride away!" says Bethany. "Most importantly, the horses have lots of room in their new corrals and stalls and have settled
in nicely."
