When I saw these scooters at Horse Expo Pomona and the "dealers wanted" sign, I thought this would be a good job for my husband Steve. So Crazy Cat Scooters is Steve's new business. Watch for these electric scooters at the horse shows, the June Western States Horse Expo, and all kinds of shows in San Diego County. A fun and easy way to get around - especially with gas at $4 a gallon – yikes!!! Hopefully the new business does well and I can start shopping for my next prospect.
The Horse Expo in Pomona had a good turnout and a lot of happy vendors. We loved the Thurs. - Sat. schedule and getting to go home and watch the Super Bowl and all the fun commercials. Thank you to all of you that stopped by our booth and said you love all of our great articles. We miss having our bigger editorial budget, but our editor Kim F. Miller and our contributors are doing a great job of bringing you a wide variety of articles no matter what kind of riding or driving you do with your horses.
Speaking of articles, Kim is looking ahead to our May issue's Barns & Corrals spotlight and wants to know what your barn's best feature is and why. Let her know directly at email@example.com or post it on our Facebook page. Thanks!
Our February article on Kristy Miller's Black Star Equestrian needs a slight clarification. While Kristy privately teaches some members of the Cal Poly Pomona Equestrian Team and has lent them horses for their shows, she does not teach the whole squad and is not officially affiliated with the team. The CPP's Hunt Seat Team is coached by Hailey Quirk.
Be sure to keep sending your story ideas to us. Watch for me at the shows, either working in the show office, announcing, or helping Steve man the Crazy Cat Scooter booth.
