Calling H/J Youth
USHJA's Horsemanship Quiz Challenge

Youth members of the U.S. Hunter/Jumper Association are invited to show off their horsemanship knowledge in the organization's newest program, the Horsemanship Quiz Challenge. The HQC is presented by Sweet Briar College and starts in February. Its mission is to educate and recognize young equestrians who have exceptional horsemanship knowledge.

Youth members have up to seven months to study the USHJA Horsemanship Study Guide (coming soon) and take the Level One quiz online. High scoring members advance to the more challenging Level Two quiz, and those top ranked scores advance to Horsemanship Quiz Challenge Finals.

The Horsemanship Quiz Challenge Finals are held in conjunction with Emerging Athletes Program Nationals and incorporates a hands-on practicum. This program is open to all levels of youth horsemen and horsewomen, regardless of their competition achievements.

Check the USHJA website (www.ushja.org) for more details on the new Horsemanship Quiz Challenge. Registration opens in February.
