April 25, 1990 in Cushing, Iowa - May 15, 2011 in Wickenburg, AZ

Our "Big Guy" (as he was affectionately referred to) came to us just before his 10th birthday. He was Warren's Valentine gift from Chris and we both fell in love with him at first sight. Over the next 11+ years, this fabulous American Quarter Horse out of Cody Pearl and the line of Two Eyed Jack traveled with us to 39 different states riding on the beaches of Amelia Island, FL to the rocky coast of Maine, to the mountains of Tennessee and the deserts of the Southwest and all the places in between. A willing and sure mount that loved affection, he could be intimidating to look at because of his huge girth. He stood 16.3 hands and topped the scales close to 1300 pounds. His sudden illness and death is very hard to accept but having the wonderful memories of all the rides he took us on will last forever in our hearts. God is surely riding a beautiful golden Palomino today in Heaven. Happy Trails CJ! You will never be forgotten.
