Revere Saddlery takes its name from the act of admiring or worshiping an object or endeavor. Its line of saddles has hit the scene in a blaze of glory, as in the Liberty, Justice, Pride and Glory saddles that made their debut at last April’s World Cup Show Jumping and Dressage Finals in Las Vegas.
The San Diego company’s founders are brothers Justin and Ryan Baghai, second generation saddle makers. After numerous trials and consulting with top riders and saddle makers around the world, the brothers have launched a saddle line made in the USA with the finest materials available. They have proudly incorporated the features riders demand and the comfort horses deserve into an affordably priced saddle. By making their saddles in the USA, they have cut expenses of overseas distributors, unnecessary third party fees and shipping and customs duty charges, successfully lowering the cost. “We pay less, you pay less,” says Justin Baghai, head saddle maker for Revere Saddlery. “Saddle prices are getting out of hand for most people. Our customers prefer working with Americans and saving money.”
“We will make quality saddles affordable for most people,” adds Ryan Baghai. With representatives in Northern and Southern California, Oregon and Washington, a Revere saddle can easily be located for a test ride. The company’s policy of offering a seven-day trial puts the pleasure back into finding a new saddle.
Revere saddles are available in many seat shapes and sizes, many tree designs to fit most horses, including flat backed horses, big moving horses, high withered horses and, of course, easy-to-fit horses. For the hard-to-fit riders and horses, alterations and modifications are possible. Currently available in two dressage models and two jumping styles, the line has new and adventurous additions in production. In the short time they’ve been in business, the Revere Saddlery team has earned the satisfaction of many top dressage and event riders. Revere Saddlery is the official saddle sponsor for Galway Downs Events in 2010.
