Hannah von Heidegger had a particularly full plate of things to be thankful for this Thanksgiving. She capped a great season by winning the Onondarka Medal Finals, which finished Nov. 26 at the Los Angeles Equestrian Center.

Californians made their presences felt at the first American Paint Horse Assn. Fall World Championship. Held Nov. 5-14 in Ft. Worth, TX, this Open and Amateur event drew nearly 1,000 horses from 42 states and four outside countries. Highlights from our area’s riders include: Susan Wilson of San Diego County’s Ramona winning the All-Around Masters (45+) Amateur division, riding Predictably Perfect, an 8-year-old sorrel overo gelding.
