New dressage show comes to Central Coast in June.

A new show, the Paso Robles Dressage Summer Classic, will be held at the beautiful Paso Robles Horsepark on June 10-12. Lisa Blaufuss of Crackerjack Productions and Ryan Torkkeli and Thomas Walker of Torkkeli and Walker Dressage are working together to bring this new, triple rated event to the Central Coast.

The show will offer a sales class on Friday and Saturday and a new contest for Adult Amateurs, “The Top Ten Stars.” Education will also be a theme for the weekend with lunch seminars Friday and Saturday. Extending the weekend to Monday, June 13th, is an exciting dressage clinic with Olympic Bronze Medalist Christine Traurig and Pan American Games Team Gold Medalist Sabine Schut-Kery also at the Horse Park.

“The Park was designed to be a very versatile equine venue. We are thrilled to welcome our first dressage horse show,” says Park director Amanda Diefenderfer. The 67-acre Paso Robles Horse Park features 224 permanent 12x12 show stalls with the ability to accommodate 600, state-of-the-art GGT footing, RV site with hookups and parking for 500 vehicles.
