It was all smiles and lots of shining trophies to celebrate year-end accomplishments at the Northern California Hunter Jumper association banquet in January.  Congratulations to all!



1.    Left to right: Matt Sereni, 2nd VP of NorCal Hunter Jumper Association, Andrea Barbee, Marcel Kristel, and Cindi Pérez, President of NorCal Hunter Jumper Association. Andrea’s Halladio was Champion in the 2nd Year Green/Regular Working Hunter Division.  Marcel rode Halladio to Reserve honors in the Modified Junior/Amateur Hunter Division year-end standings.
2.    Aimee LaFayette (L) was Reserve Champion in the Equitation 18 to 35 division. Aimee’s King Lionheart earned the Championship honors in the Adult Amateur Hunters 18 to 40 division. Leslie Biederman (R), earned fourth place year-end honors in the Equitation 36 & Over division.
3.    Left to right: Marcel Kristel, Susan Crenshaw, Andrea Barbee, Board Member Ryan Anne Polli, Meghan Drescher, and Doug Novick, DVM living it up at the awards celebration. Doug’s Charlie Horse was the Champion in the Amateur Owner Jumpers Division.
4.    Matt Sereni shows off wife Carly’s championship award in the Amateur Owner 3’6” Hunter division, with Cindi Pérez (R).
5.    Marisa Metzger (L) and Samantha Finnegan of Lightacres Stables. Samantha rode her Very Best to the top spot in the Childrens Hunters 13 & Under Division.
6.    Maya Wadwahni  (L) and Zoe Joaquin (R). Zoe, trained by Meredith Herman, earned Championship honors in the Childs Pony Hunter division with her Daydream. Maya, also trained by Meredith, earned 4th place in the same division with her Helicon Miles of Smiles.
7.    Left to right, Avery Glynn and Hope Glynn of Sonoma Valley Stables, Matt Sereni, Fred Furth and Cindi Pérez. Furth Bonami Farm’s Argiste was the Champion in the Adult Amateur Hunters, 41 & Over, bringing home the Marguerite Burbank memorial trophy, and earned the Lionheart award as the top overall Adult Amateur Hunter.



8.    Three generations of looking beautiful! Proud mother Hope Glynn and grandmother Pricilla Hobday congratulated Avery Glynn of Sonoma Valley Stables on her win in the Small Pony Hunters with Bit Of Flurries.
9.    Left to right, Matt Sereni, John Charlebois, Naomi Rubin and Cindi Pérez. John coached Naomi and Bunistar to year-end Championship honors in the Childrens Hunters 14 to 17 division.
10.    Left to right: Jacqueline Vail, Kelly Van Vleck, Patty Gill, Makenzy Barnes and Christina Vail.  Kelly Van Vleck’s riders dominated the equitation year end awards.  Patty Gill and Christina Vail earned Champion honors in the 15 to 17 and 12 to 14 divisions, respectively. Makenzy finished just behind Christina in the Reserve Champion spot in the 12 to 14 division, and Jacqueline earned the third spot in the 15 to 17 division.
11.    Jill Humphrey (L) and Jan Humphrey (R). JH Sporthorses earned the top prizes at the NorCal Hunter Jumper Association 2015 Awards banquet. Jill earned $5,000 as the Leading Jumper Rider, closely followed by sister Jan in the second spot. Jill also rode Zubliem to the top spot in the Leading Jumper Horse category. Jan piloted Tonala LS to third place honors in that division.
