Tamie Smith aboard Mai Baum.

Tamie Smith was hard to beat at the Copper Meadows Horse Trials Sept. 4-6 in Ramona.

The Temecula trainer won the top three divisions: The Professionals Choice CIC*** aboard Mai Baum; the Western Underground CIC ** aboard Chatwin; and the Shires Equestrian CIC* aboard Fleeceworks Royal.

With Chatwin, Tamie was filling in for owner and usual rider Frankie Thieriot Stutes, who was eight months pregnant during the competition but keept very busy doing terrific interviews for Ride On Video’s great daily reports on the event.

Herewith, photo recap of highlights from the rest of the weekend.

Alexandra Terlesky winning Training Rider Junior aboard Weltina.
