Red Bucket Equine Rescue Proudly Presents Robin

Robin is a darling 11 year old 15.3 hh Thoroughbred gelding.

Robin has had the benefit of extensive training in english, western and trail and is very versatile.

He has a fantastic work ethic, is very personable, and loves to be groomed and doted on.

He is a forward horse and appropriate for a confident intermediate rider who will appreciate his energy and desire for work.

Robin’s dream home would consist of a lot of attention, plenty of turn out time, an opportunity to work, trail ride and play.

In a perfect world, there would be room for him to bring his own pet and companion Dalton, a 15.3 hh gelding...and very best friend.

Adoption fee: $1500. To inquire about adopting this wonderful horse (or to learn more about Dalton) please contact Susan or Shona at www.Redbucketrescue.org

We thank all of our contributors for helping us bring you this nice big issue. We will be at Horse Expo Pomona and also distributing California Riding Magazine at the HITS hunter/jumper circuits in Thermal and Arizona and at many other shows. I hope to see you out there! I have been busy with my foster horse Joey from Falcon Ridge. He is a nice big Thoroughbred gelding and he is coming along nicely with the help of Ronnette Leja, Dr. Kim Sergent, and farrier Wayne Bryan. He is a super fun project for me. You can check out his photos on my Facebook page.

San Juan Capistrano hunter/jumper Dana Smith shared news of a tragic fire just as we were going to press and requested help for its victims. The Jan. 20 fire killed one of the stable workers at Rancho Sierra Vista and several others. Donations of clothing, bedding and money are being collected through various efforts. For more info, visit Dana Smith Show Team on Facebook, www.gofundme.com/SJC-ApartmentFire or The Father Fund: www.youcaring.com/memorial-fundraiser/jaiden-liborio-fund/295023.

The Equine Industry Symposium has been rescheduled to Friday March 27, due to scheduling conflicts on the original Jan. 16 date. (California Riding Magazine, Jan. 2015) Sports mega-agent Leigh Steinberg and several industry experts, including yours truly, are still slated to speak. Visit www.equineindustrysymposium.com for more information and to reserve your spot.

Be sure to check out our editorial calendar on our newly updated website, www.ridingmagazine.com. Along with our usual range of articles, our March issue will have a special editorial focus on Eventing, Fashion and Equine Insurance. Also, it’s the last chance to get in the annual California Horseman’s Directory. Call us if you want to get in this awesome resource in print and online.

Happy Riding!
