Perseverance, precision and perfect timing are what top world class horse and rider combinations will need to win as they compete next weekend in San Juan Capistrano during the $50,000 Blenheim World Cup Qualifying Grand Prix presented by the Orange County Register on Friday, September 11th at 7:00pm.

World Cup hopefuls from around the U.S. and the world are drawn to this special event where riders will compete in a competitive indoor setting and have the opportunity to earn highly coveted World Cup points. The Grand Prix is the second West Coast Qualifier for the 2010 World Cup Finals. In addition to competing for World Cup points, riders will also battle for awards and prize money during the $50,000 Blenheim World Cup Qualifying Grand Prix. LAHJA Horsemanship & Rosewood Finals - Henley Atkins & Olivia Esse Take Top Honors

The Los Angeles Hunter Jumper Association holds two of its five medal finals at the annual Gold Coast 6 show: the LAHJA Horsemanship Finals and the Rosewood Medal Finals. Stephen DeFisher did a masterful job with the courses by offering challenging options for the more advanced riders and allowing the less experienced riders to take a slightly easier track. The Rosewood is one of three fourteen and under medal classes in California and the various finals are held at 3’3”. The Rosewood is also held in an indoor setting, thus giving riders heading east an opportunity to gain valuable indoor experience.
