On yet another perfect Saturday at the Del Mar Horse Park, twenty-eight couples took the test set by Catalina Cruz of Monterrey, Mexico in the $30,000 August Festival Grand Prix, presented by EquiFit, inc. With four to ride, Californian Kirsten Coe qualified three of Ilan Ferder's horses for the jump-off, Baronez, Tristan and Vernon G, and merely had time faults on the fourth, Combina. Mexican Jaime Azcarraga competed once again on his three mounts.

PegasusTV Picks Up the Pace with New Stations, Fall Program Line-Up and 24/7 Live Simulcasts

PegasusTV will be in available in Bakersfield and Santa Barbara, California by next week, according to Charles Smallwood, west coast Regional Manager for the new equestrian television network.

"Bakersfield's KBCT 34.1 and Santa Barbara's KSBT 32 will join Los Angeles and Fresno as part of our network's planned regional "cluster" for central and southern California," said Smallwood. CDI Verden in Germany hosted the 2011 FEI World Breeding Championships and the U.S. was represented in this prestigious event by dressage rider Jennifer Hoffman. Hoffmann and Florentinus V were eighth in the first qualifying competition for 5-year old horses with a score of 8.42, with Ratzinger Z, Hoffmann was tied for eighth in the 1st qualifying competition 6-year old horses with a score of 8.36.
