Four California Eventing Pairs make the Pan Am Shortlist

Big congrats to four California eventers who made the USEF's Short List/Nominated Entry for this October's Pan American Games in Guadalajara, Mexico. They are: Maxance McManamy and Project Runway of Templeton; Alexandra Slusher and Last Call of Auburn; Tamra Smith and Mar de Amor of Murietta and Jolie (Sexton) Wentworth and Good Knight of Martinez.

They are on the list of 15 horse/rider pairs in the running and will participate in a "mandatory outing" in Michigan Aug. 24-28. We are rooting for you all!



Ashlee Bond and Chivas Z Kick Off Kentucky Summer Horse Shows with 1.40m Open Jumper Victory

It was beautiful and sunny for the opening day of the Kentucky Summer Horse Shows at the Kentucky Horse Park. Today, riders gathered at the Walnut Ring to compete for top prizes in the Open Jumper classes. Ashlee Bond and Chivas Z were the big winners, claiming the victory in the 1.40m Open Jumper class with the fastest clear effort. In the 1.35m Open Jumper class it was Kaely Tomeu and Bella Blue S that took home the blue ribbon, after they completed a quick and clean jump-off round. Keep reading ...

FEI Counts Down to 100 Years of Olympic Equestrian Sport
