Kerrits Introduces Comfortable & Flattering Shadbelly Coat

No longer is the right to wear a Shadbelly reserved for those in elite competition. The Kerrits Rad Shad is the perfect, stylish summer must-have that looks straight off the runway and complements all breeches and riding tights. Perfect for showing in hand, trot-ups or for a more formal look in a clinic.

This shad is very lightweight, offers a split tail and two-way front zipper. Made with a four-way stretch material offering a fitted torso, this slimming shad also allows for freedom of movement. This piece is fun and can go anywhere. It’s easy to pack for travel and it’s machine washable. It’s figure flattering and provides great coverage.

The Rad Shad comes in two colors: black and brown. Both offer detailed piping along the collar as well as the two flat-front pockets.

Dismissal of CEA Lawsuit and Projected Opening of Green Valley Equestrian Camp
Starting next month, individuals and families will once again be able to camp with their horses, mules and ponies in the Cuyamaca mountains east of San Diego. For over 50 years, horse enthusiasts enjoyed shady campsites and quiet trails at the Los Caballos Family Horse Camp in Cuyamaca Rancho State Park. But after the Cedar Fire in 2003 cultural resource protection issues shut down the camp. Now, with the anticipated opening of converted facilities at the Green Valley campground, equestrians will have a place to camp in the park. Keep reading ...

After the Finish Line 2010 Annual Charity Fundraiser • August 5

After the Finish Line presents their 2010 Annual Charity Fundraiser, "A Tribute to the Majesty of Thoroughbreds" on August 5th from 5:30 pm to 9:30 pm at the Hilton Hotel in Del Mar, CA.

Our fundraiser will be held across the street from the Del Mar race track. We will host a reception, silent and live auctions & dinner. This is our major fundraiser of the year, hosted during the Del Mar race meet to raise awareness for Thoroughbred ex-racehorses. Our past attendees included Thoroughbred owners, trainers and breeders, racetrack announcers, jockeys, fans, those who own ex-racehorses and those who care about the welfare of the Thoroughbreds. I hope you can attend as well. If you can't attend, please consider making a donation for the horses.

After the Finish Line is a 501 (c) 3 funding non-profit dedicted to saving, rehabilitating and caring for rescued Thoroughbred horses who can no longer race or breed. These horses may be injured, too slow to win or not producing quality foals. ATFL awards monthly emergency funds and yearly grants to qualified rescued organizations throughout the United States.

The Thoroughbreds give their fans so much excitement when they race. These talented animals deserve the opportunity to transition and excel in second careers such as hunter/jumpers, dressage, trail, therapy or companion horses. Please join our efforts to ensure the welfare of the Thoroughbreds and give the gift of life to an animal that is less fortunate.

We hope you can help us make our 3rd annual fundraiser the most successful yet. Our fundraiser documents can be printed from the home page of this website. You can follow our fundraiser on After the Finish Line's Facebook FAN page. Please contact dawn@afterthefinishline.org or 858-945-1371 for additional ticket and event information.
