Crunch Time Approaches in HSBC FEI World Cup Eventing™

Tension is mounting in the HSBC FEI World Cup™ Eventing with the eighth and ninth competitions, Kalispell (USA) and Minsk (BEL), in the 12-event series taking place this weekend.

Germany’s Michael Jung has set a tough target in this year’s HSBC FEI World Cup™. 9th Annual Southern California German Oldenburg Horse Breeders Society Inspection • July 28

Hosted by German Dressage Inc. and Rancho Los Amigos. Event held at Rancho Los Amigos in Encinitas, CA.

This will be our Annual Mare and Foal Inspection with GOV Premium Awards/Plaques and Special Awards and Ribbons being given to Champion Mares and Champion Foals of Highest Quality. This is a great opportunity to come and watch the Mares and Foals in Action. Learn about their breeding, movement, temperament and conformation and what the judges are looking for in a quality German Oldenburg Horse.
We will have an Experienced Runner, Braiders, Handlers and Photographer available.
We will also be presenting a number of Former Oldenburg Auction Horses which will be shown under saddle. Breeding information and successes will be announced by Holly Simensen, Breeding Director of The Oldenburg Horse Breeders Society and we will also be presenting The German Dressage Stallion Collection.
The Inspectors will be Mrs. Holly Simensen,West Palm Beach, FL and Mr. Thomas Rhinow from Germany.
We will be offering a great afternoon of cooking lunch on the barbeque and having drinks with a chance to talk with the inspectors about their prospects or just the Oldenburg horse in general. A perfect chance for people to get together and see

National Vaulting Championships • July 29 - Aug. 1

The nation’s best equestrian vaulters will perform eye-popping gymnastics and dance freestyle routines atop cantering horses at this year’s USEF/AVA National Championships. Nationally-ranked vaulters and their equine partners from New Jersey to California will gather to compete for coveted U.S. titles at the 2010 Championships from July 29-Aug. 1 at the Earl Warren Show Grounds in Santa Barbara.

Horse vaulting is commonly described as a combination of dance and gymnastics on a horse. The American Vaulting Association and USEF welcome any and all spectators to come check out what horse vaulting is all about. As the last qualifier for the 2010 World Equestrian Games in Kentucky this fall, this event will bring the best vaulters the U.S. has to offer. Competitors include world and national vaulting champions. The FEI World Equestrian Games is one of the world’s largest and most prestigious equestrian events.
