Contact Susan Peirce, Red Bucket Equine Rescue,
We want to thank all of our advertisers who jumped in this February issue featuring Hunter/Jumpers. California's mild winter is making for lots of time to ride and prepare for the shows. HITS Thermal and Arizona circuits are underway and having an excellent turnout. I have been out every week to re-stock magazines and watch some great rounds at Thermal. I'm glad to see so many competitors riding in our gorgeous and sunny Southern California. My friend Corky Loupe was predicting winter would show up with a vengence for Thermal, but so far it's been amazing weather. The West Coast definitely needs the rain but maybe it will come on the circuit's off week.
We hope to see all you at Horse Expo Pomona, the list of clinicians and vendors looks like a fun time will be had by all. Be sure to come see us in building 7 and give us your story ideas.
I also want to let you know about one of my heroes and also my longtime friend Kate Riordan. Kate owned and published the California Horse Review and has been a huge contributor to our California horse industry. She is currently suffering from Lyme disease and her good friend Linda Tellington-Jones has started a fundraiser to help her get the medical help she needs. Please contact me if you would like to contribute to help Kate, who is extremely sick from this hard-to-treat and hard-to-detect illness.
Next month we are featuring equestrian vacations, specialty breeds and spring fashion.
Thanks for reading and sharing our magazine. I look forward to seeing you out at this year's shows and events.
