Publisher's Notes

Available for Adoption: Cohen

Cohen is a grey Arabian mare, approximately 9 years old. She is absolutely beautiful and has been trained in both English and Western styles of riding. She gets along well with other horses and genuinely likes people. While we consider her to be very broke, she has a bit of spirit and would be best suited for a quiet and confident partner. Cohen has nice conformation, is a great little mover and would enjoy both arena and trail work. Cohen's adoption fee is $1,000.

Another year has galloped on by. Thank you and Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all of our readers and advertisers. We are happy to serve all of you by bringing you the California horse news every month in print, weekly via our eNews, and daily with our Facebook updates.

The Riding Magazine team had a great time last month attending the openings of both Cavalia and Valitar. These performances are a great holiday treat for horse lovers. So if you are still thinking of last minute gifts, tickets to these shows will be a huge hit. Plus this is a great way to share our passion of horses with our non-horsey friends.

Also, donating to any of our many horse rescues this year is another great gift idea. Or you can help keep our industry going by giving a lesson or trail ride gift certificate to your favorite horse crazy kid. Plus we have some more gift ideas here.

We want to thank Horse Expo Pomona for sponsoring our Dec. cover. Next month we will be promoting our exhibitors that will be attending the expo Jan. 31 - Feb. 2. The show runs Thurs. through Saturday and we are so happy we get to stay home to watch the Super Bowl. Thank you Miki!

January is also our congratulations and thanks to our trainers issue. Call or email us for our specials.

Happy Riding and Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!!
