NARG Riders Grant

November 30 is the deadline for the North American Riders Group Rider's Grant, which provides $15,000 to be spent within North America on expenses approved by the NARG Board. The grant is designed to enable an emerging rider, dedicated to the sport of show jumping, an opportunity to achieve levels of performance they otherwise may not have been able to attain.

The Grant will be awarded at the sole discretion of the NARG board on the basis of financial need, past performance and goals.

The North American Riders Group is grateful for the generosity of the Southern-Heathcott family who make this grant possible.

1. Applicant must be a citizen of the United States, Mexico or Canada and a current NARG member. (You can apply online at www.NARG.org.)
2. The applicant should have demonstrated outstanding skill in show jumping and the intention to be a lifelong participant in the sport.
3. Financial need is an important criterion in awarding this grant.
4. Applicants must provide at least one signed recommendation from a trainer/professional who knows the applicant personally. The letter should discuss the applicant's appropriateness to receive this grant.
