Publisher's Notes

Longtime friend and Reiki practitioner Lucy Olivier
is helping me with the lymphedema in my leg.

So I'm still working on reducing the swelling in my leg. My long time friend Lucy Olivier is giving me Reiki treatments. Plus I had another reader recommend the Wright Therapy pump. That's next on the list. All and all, I'm coming along fine with everything I'm trying.

Your good wishes and donations are needed for Julie Winkle of Maplewood Stables in Reno, NV. Julie's home was burned down last month when wild fires destroyed many homes in her area. If you would like to help Julie rebuild you can send a donation to the CPHA Foundation, 10153 1/2 Riverside Dr. Suite 390, Toluca Lake, CA 91602.This is a fund for equestrians in need. Please do not write Julie's name on the checks, but enclose a piece of paper with her name on it and the Foundation will send the money on to Julie.

Also needing your good thoughts is John Quirk, who had a massive heart attack in December. John is recovering with his wife Tish at his side. Tish wants to thank everyone for all their good wishes and she and John welcome visits. Be sure to call or text her first. Tish also wants to thank her team for keeping her breeding and training business running smoothly while she is caring for John.

The USEF recruits Susie Hutchison to join its Olympic show jumping team selection committee, with a special eye on West Coast-based contenders. Along with Chris Kappler and Mark Leone, Susie will help evaluate pairs competing in the selection trials next month in Florida and at the Olympic qualifier during the Del Mar National in early May. She and her fellow selectors will report to USET chef d'equipe George Morris.
