Susan Hoffman Peacock
Dressage trainer goes international.

Dressage specialist Susan Hoffman Peacock from Corona (soon to be the city of Eastvale) has been a staple in the national dressage community for the last 20 years. She has been teaching
private clinics and the prestigious USDF Adult Camps all over the United States as well as operating her own training stable. Now she has gone international.

Peacock has just returned home from a very successful tour in England and Scotland. The June clinic schedule included nine locations during a two-week visit. She is a specialist in biomechanics with her own unique system for success. “Understanding how the rider’s balance affects the horse’s performance in both positive and negative ways is the basis of my Functional Equitation,” she explains. "Combining this with a systematic and classical dressage program just makes sense!” Participants in the clinics were professionals, adult amateurs and juniors as well as Para-Olympic riders. “This system was very well received by the riders, many of whom signed up for multiple lessons after their initial session,” Peacock reports.

The trainer and coach has been invited back for another clinic tour this fall, adding Ireland to the prestigious list of locations. This winter she has also been invited to share her Functional Equitation System in New Zealand.

Peacock is currently competing on horses that are in training as well as her own horse, Vagabond. “Please call ahead and make an appointment to meet with me, schedule a clinic, view our beautiful farm or meet me at a horse show!”
