Rein-Aid
Practical tool is designed for “real” riders.

Rein-Aid and their products, which provide an elastic connection through the reins, were the brainstorm of BHSII Certified Instructor Kim Keppick. Keppick represented Ireland in international competition before immigrating to America in 1984. As head rider for Olympic multiple medalist Karen O’Connor, she had great success through Advanced and was lucky enough to pick up some pure dressage rides that led to wins through Fourth Level. Her students continue that winning tradition.

Keppick is very proud of the development of Rein-Aid. “I just love how Rein-Aid helps horses and riders communicate better.” Kim goes on to say that her products are designed to help “normal” people. By that she means folks who have horses, love to ride, but also have “real jobs.” This means that they are not riding eight horses every day like the good professionals. When you ride only one horse six days a week, it takes time to develop a seat and independence of the aids. Not everyone even gets to ride six days a week.

Rein-Aid products are designed to help those non-trainer folks. “Regardless of whether you ride english, western, a horse or mule, Rein-Aid can help you,” Keppick says. “We have customers that compete at all levels in a variety of disciplines or simply enjoy being with their horse on trails.”

If you go to www.rein-aid.com and click the testimonials page you see what Keppick is talking about. She adds that pros use Rein-Aid when they have a super sensitive horse, “It can work wonders in that situation too,” says Keppick.
