Alltech, Inc. and O.H. Kruse launch first U.S. Green Feed for horses.

California-based O.H. Kruse launched Green Feed for horses in June at the 2009 Western States Horse Expo in Sacramento. This new diet for horses was developed through a partnership between Alltech, title sponsor of the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2010™, and O.H. Kruse, one of Alltech’s Official Animal Health and Nutrition Partners for this event.

Green Feed has already demonstrated success, contributing to O.H. Kruse winning the Golden Medallion Booth Award at the Western States Horse Expo. In the 1-3 space indoor booth category, criteria included use of props to promote a product, how the design of the booth promoted the product, and easy visibility and identification of the product from the show aisle.

As part of the Green Feed launch, O.H. Kruse is advertising in key West Coast magazines and has created a campaign for retail customers using the slogan “Green Pays Green.” This promotion will allow Green Feed buyers to enter a contest including monthly prizes (wearables and merchandise from the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games 2010) and a grand prize: a trip for two to the Alltech FEI Games 2010 in Lexington, KY, including airfare, event tickets and hotel.

 O.H. Kruse believes that turning to eco-friendly products is more than a trend; it is a way to show commitment to nature’s powerful resources. Here is what to expect from Green Feed:
