nutrients for optimum nutritional benefit
at a competitive price.

Trusted equine feed manufacturer Manna Pro has just introduced a new, high-fat performance horse supplement ideal for horses in training, show horses, sale horses and conditioning horses. Max-E-Glo® Complete’s calorie-dense formula offers more calories per feeding to fuel the activities of any horse that needs to add healthy weight in order to look and perform its very best.

Max-E-Glo Complete is fortified with essential nutrients designed to complement the balanced diet that hay-fed or grazing horses already receive. It provides superior nutrition based on Manna Pro’s Max-E-Glo Stabilized Rice Bran, which is recognized as a source of “cool calories” for performance horses. This high-quality ingredient is a rich source of plant-based oils, making it a safe and effective way to provide the calories needed by a young growing horse, a hard working equine athlete, or a thin horse that needs to regain some condition.

Dr. Rob McCoy, Manna Pro’s Vice President of Nutrition, says a key benefit of Max-E-Glo Complete is the stability of its rice bran base. “If not properly stabilized, the oils in rice bran can oxidize and become rancid,” McCoy says. “Max-E-Glo is thoroughly stabilized to maintain that ‘just-milled’ freshness.” This high-fat base is fortified with flax for healthy skin and coat, and enriched with yeast culture for better feed efficiency. Max-E-Glo Complete also contains chelated minerals for optimal absorption of the minerals.

McCoy says the flax provides numerous benefits. “Flaxseed is fed chiefly for its Omega-3 fatty acids, and is an ideal way to ensure your horse has a show-ready appearance,” he says. “These polyunsaturated fatty acids help maintain a healthy, shiny coat.
They can also enhance immune function and reduce inflammation.”

Max-E-Glo Complete contains 13 percent protein, 20 percent fat, and has a balanced calcium-to-phosphorus ratio. The small extruded pellet can be top-dressed or fed separately. Young horses would typically be fed half-pound to one pound daily, while mature horses would usually need one to two pounds daily. Max-E-Glo Complete offers superior nutritional benefits at a lower price point compared to leading high-fat horse supplements.

According to McCoy, “All classes of horses require minerals and vitamins in the diet. Collectively, these nutrients are involved in structure, respiration, immune function, digestion, reproduction and many other bodily functions. Unfortunately, these nutrients are sometimes overlooked in the feeding program,” he adds. “Max-E-Glo Complete provides a comprehensive profile of minerals and vitamins to assure requirements for each of these critical nutrients are met.”

Max-E-Glo Complete is available in a 25-pound re-sealable poly bag through most retail locations that sell other Manna Pro products, including its flagship product, Calf-Manna®. The stand-up bag is easy to store, and has a durable, built-in handle for convenient transportation. Its easy-pour, re-sealable spout makes feeding a cinch.
