Hi Cheryl,
I need to tell you, and I do whenever I see you for Horse Expo, in Sacramento, that I think you and your crew do the best job when it comes to horse magazines. It is just amazing. Detail, good ads that would be something I would actually buy from (vs those you look at and say "yuck") and articles that mean something. HOWEVER, and you knew here was a however, there is one thing missing... You forget that there are those here in the north, north of Fresno, that ride. Go back to your last issue, count advertisers and articles, I bet you don't count more than 20 In total (or around that number). Is it because Carrie and Susan don't know where to look? Doubtful? Have you covered every trainer once and don't need to do it again?? Ah come on, every horse trainer needs to be covered (yes lay over the top of) more than 3 times a year. There are plenty of horse shows to cover, clinics to cover... So what's the deal? I forget every August to send you an article on the 4H Classic horse show that happens every summer, could someone come? I'll give you the date under a separate cover as its on my other computer.
Ok, I've given you my gripe, if I find more than 3 trainers for you to go out and see, what will you give me? (forget the free subscription, you send magazines to me for my 4H horse group). I figure 1 is easy easy, 2 more difficult and 3 worth the challenge.
My 4H kids may never say thank you, however I will for sending your magazine. When you live in a western county, seeing "English stuff" is really different.
Again, thanks for the magazine, its awesome, but can we get some advertising/editorial coverage????
