Premier Equine Center
New year brings new offerings
from healing and rehabilitation center.

Northern California’s Premier Equine Center, located in Jamestown, is continuing to establish itself as the most complete equine healing and rehabilitation center in California. Premier Equine Center, which opened last May, works very closely with referring veterinarians to ensure the proper healing and rehabilitation for their clients. Home of the West Coast’s only Cold Salt Hydrotherapy Spa for leg injuries and a covered Eurociser, Premier Equine is continuing its expansion. New for 2009 is the addition of a P3 electromagnetic pulsating machine and California’s only Equine Solarium.

The P3 electromagnetic pulsating machine is the only pulsating electromagnetic machine that has been thoroughly tested by veterinarians for safety and efficacy. Now being marketed by MWI Veterinary Supply, the incredible results of the P3 have been witnessed by many top equine veterinarians and trainers across the country. With its unique capacitor, the P3 delivers a revolving spectrum of bio-frequencies with the idea that it is delivering a metabolic buffet with every pulse. With every cycle there is a frequency wave that is appropriate for each individual tissue, stimulating and heightening its function as well as those of surrounding tissues. The results have been outstanding for treating tendon and ligament injuries as well as back, stifle and sacroiliac injuries.

Premier Equine Center is also proud to have added California’s only equine solarium. An equine solarium uses short wavelength infrared heat, the same type of heat put off by the sun, minus the harmful UV rays. The infrared heat stimulates the immune system and naturally provides the horse with vitamin D, which includes calcium and phosphates and is the building block of strong bones.

The infrared heat also penetrates the skin into the underlying muscle tissue and helps to stimulate blood flow due to the warmth, thus increasing circulation throughout the body. The increased circulation improves muscle elasticity, which helps with the reduction of injuries and speeds up the recovery process.
