Lorlee “Lee” Murray has been an avid artist from an early age. She counts herself fortunate that while attending a private school in Miami, FL, a wonderful art teacher took her under her wing and taught Lee everything she knew. Since then, Lee has studied various mediums from drawing to glass etching, oils to batiking, watercolor to crafting.
For over 21 years she worked in marketing and advertising design, and then for 10 more years as a fine arts teacher. Lee presently works for Cobalt Construction in Simi Valley and sells her art at various local shows and galleries.
She has won numerous awards and has served on the board of directors for the Ventura County Professional Women’s Network, Pleasant Valley Education and is currently president of the Conejo Valley Arabian Horse Association. Lee is married with three children and a fourth grandchild is expected soon. She lives in Simi Valley with her husband, their two cats, two dogs and three horses.
