Trained by Passier & Son in Germany, in 1984 Jochen Schleese became the youngest Master Saddler ever certified in Europe. In 1986, he was asked to be the Official Saddler for the World Dressage Championships held just north of Toronto, Canada. Today, Jochen, along with his wife Sabine and their partner Earl Rothery, own and operate one of the fastest growing saddleries in North America, Schleese Saddlery.
Schleese saddles are manufactured to the highest quality standards, then sold and serviced by a growing network of professionals across North America and around the world. They were one of the first english saddle manufacturers to export product back to Europe, and now enjoy the endorsements of many top international riders, trainers and horsemen.
Recently another international rider joined the Schleese and Saddlefit 4 Life team. German Olympic dressage gold medalist Heike Kemmer is endorsing their newest saddle model—the HK. Incorporating state-of-the-art design, the HK saddle offers a three-fourth integrated shoulder relief panel, a deep seat, monoflap and interchangeable thigh rolls. The HK is available only through Saddlefit 4 Life’s partners—Horobin in Australasia, Equine Rose in Europe and Schleese in North America. This revolutionary design will retail for $5,495.
Watch for HK’s debut on Schleese’s new website, www.saddlefit4life.com. The new site will feature listing keys for Saddlefit 4 Life’s partners worldwide, and customers will be able to take advantage of their newest products and view on-site services. All of Schleese’s services incorporate the Saddlefit 4 Life philosophy of education and analysis, innovative saddle solutions and ongoing service—all with the ultimate goal of protecting equestrians and horses from long-term damage!
