SEPTEMBER 29-30-BAY AREA: Round Valley NATRC Competitive Trail Ride. Enjoy views of the Bay Area and Delta from the ridges on top of Round Valley. Ride Camp has shade available. Close to the Bay Area. This ride camp is not open for horse camping to the general public but has been reserved for NATRC on these dates. Come ride the fire roads and single tracks of Round Valley Preserve. One day and two day competitive trail ride as well as a C introductory ride of 8-12 miles on Saturday. Info & ride registration: www.natrcregion1.org. OCTOBER 13-14-WILLIAMS: Fall Fiesta Ride - NATRC Competitive Trail Ride. Mostly single tracks through the Cache Creek Recreational Area-a 70,000 acre BLM property. There are creek crossings and ridge top views with beautiful vistas across the valleys. The campsite is huge and can accommodate large rigs.
